This Java applet was made when I was just fiddling around learning to use Java. It should run automatically if you have java working on your browser. Press the space bar to start the program running (you may have to mouse-click on the applet window first, and for some reason you may have to press space twice), and press 'p' to pause it at any time. A random selection of blocks should appear in the lower part of the screen, and then new blocks should start falling from the top of the screen and moving about. It's all just for fun really... there's no point to it, but I do find it quite mesmerising watching the little blocks move around. If at any point they cannot move left or right, they become fixed in their position, at which point a new block can fall from the top of the screen.
